The U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Department´s National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS) has executed an option year 3 for Signature Consulting Group (SCG) to continue providing integrated Health IT and scientific support services on the National Toxicology Program (NTP).
The National Toxicology Program (NTP) is an inter-agency program whose mission is to evaluate agents of public health concern by developing and applying tools of modern toxicology and molecular biology. The program maintains an objective, science-based approach in dealing with critical issues in toxicology by continually evolving to remain at the cutting edge of scientific research and to develop and apply new technologies.
SCG is responsible for maintaining and improving the NTP websites usability and interactions between databases and applications ensuring a secure, complete, current, and accurate reporting of data, and providing content and compliance management. SCG recently redesigned NTP Portal and received high praises from Suzanne Fitzpatrick, Ph.D., a health policy analyst who represents the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the NTP Executive Committee. Dr. Fitzpatrick called the new site a big improvement over its predecessor, with an appeal to scientists and the public alike..."It's one of the nicest government websites I have ever seen."
