SCG Awarded Medicaid.gov & InsureKidsNow.gov Website DevOps Support
Lauren Sommers
APR 24, 2018
The Centers for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS) under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), awards Signature Consulting Group (SCG) DevOps support of key Medicaid websites, which communicate Federal Medicaid policy.
This contract award builds upon SCG's existing initiative with CMS to provide Digital Business Operations Guidance and Digital Governance Implementation for Web and New Media.
SCG will be providing DevOps support for Medicaid.gov and InsureKidsNow.gov. The Medicaid.gov site is the primary communication vehicle with State and Federal policy makers; health associations and advocacy organizations; health care provider groups; researchers; tribes; and the public for the diffusion of Federal Medicaid, CHIP, and BHP policy. The InsureKidsNow.gov site connects families to state healthcare coverage options for their children and Connecting Kids to Coverage outreach partners.
CMS has launched the Scorecard accountability initiative, which will be published, managed, and enhanced over time on Medicaid.gov. The Scorecard initiative supports increased visibility and accountability for Medicaid and CHIP programmatic and administrative outcomes. As a result of this key Scorecard initiative SCG will be supporting CMS/CMCS through the management of content, developing and enhancing new functionality, through automation, interactivity, and data visualization.
