HHS Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Awards Signature Consulting Group the Surveyor Training Implementation (STI) Contract
The Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ), under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), awarded a prime contract to Maryland-based Signature Consulting Group (SCG) to provide instructional implementation and support/coordinative services for the Surveyor Training Implementation (STI) Program. SCG education and survey training includes instructional systems design (ISD) developing and maintaining courseware for surveyor training products for both traditional classroom and distance eLearning.
The Center of Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ) is responsible for the mandated and mission critical Surveyor Training Implementation (STI) program. CCSQ is responsible for providing leadership, overall programmatic direction and training to 10 Regional Offices (ROs) and 53 State Survey Agencies (SAs). CCSQ is responsible for assuring that surveyors are trained to make determinations about the Conditions of Participation (CoP) of providers.
